O-Town’s story began in 1999, when TV network, ABC, produced the very first musical reality show in major network history. “Making the Band” was produced in conjunction with Lou Pearlman, creator of both the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC. The show chronicled the creation, development, and rise to success of O-Town throughout three seasons of the series; the first two on ABC and the final season on MTV. The group became the first to be signed by Clive Davis to his label, J Records, and released two full-length albums, which included #1 singles, “Liquid Dreams” and “All or Nothing”. The latter of which was nominated for “Song of the Year” at the Radio Music Awards in 2001.
Reunited in 2014 as a four-piece, following the departure of member, Ashley Parker Angel, band members Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, Dan Miller and Erik-Michael Estrada, released their third studio album, “Lines & Circles”, and set out on a national tour for the first time in 10 years in support of the album. They spent the summer of 2016 on the MY2K Tour, with artists 98 Degrees, Ryan Cabrera, and Dream. They also performed alongside the likes of New Kids on The Block, Boyz ll Men and Paula Abdul for the 5th Mixtape Festival, held in July 2016 in Hershey, PA.
In October 2016, the group launched a Kickstarter campaign to do just that. The campaign was so incredibly successful that they met their initial goal of $47,500 within the first 7 hours. At the end of the 30-day campaign, they nearly doubled that goal, proving their loyal fan base will continue to support the group as they pursue new musical endeavors. O-Town is now preparing to release the second of two EP’s, with Pacific Records, which will complete their fourth studio album. Dove Award-winning and Grammy and Stellar award-nominated gospel singer-songwriter Jonathan McReynolds has announced the release of his first ever live LP, “Make Room,” his third full album and the fourth overall release for the 28-year-old musician. The guitarist and singer also holds a Masters in theology from Moody Theological Seminary and is currently an adjunct member of the Columbia College faculty. His music has been cheered on by music icons from Stevie Wonder, Nicki Minaj, and Tori Kelly to gospel giants like CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams, and Kirk Franklin, who dubbed McReynolds “the future of gospel music.”

Nodding back to the versatility of classic entertainers, Algee Smith simultaneously thrives on the big and small screens, on stage, and on tape. However, that became his goal a long time ago… “In my mind, I needed to be respected in both art forms—acting and music,” he exclaims. “It was all or nothing for both. Born in Saginaw, MI before relocating to the South Side of Atlanta in middle school, the budding talent hit the road for the first time at just 12-years-old. As part of the World Changers church choir, he performed in front of a sold-out audience at Madison Square Garden. Inspired on his path by 2Pac, R. Kelly, and Michael Jackson, mom homeschooled Algee so he could focus on his art, while dad produced countless songs for him to sing over. 2011 saw him begin releasing originals on YouTube as part of a regular “Music Mondays” feature before landing roles in films such as EarthToEcho and LetItShine. From singing on the streets of their native Liverpool to touring arenas with Justin Bieber, MiC LOWRY have made it their mission to win over fans the old-fashioned way – with their voices and heavenly harmonies. Chuck in spades of Scouse charm, below-the-belt lyrics and a sound that updates the music of their youth and the result is less boy band than R&B gang. Having conquered YouTube with their captivating covers of songs as diverse as Adele’s Hello and Drake’s One Dance (racking up tens of millions of plays on the way), scored their debut hit last year with the steamy, Phil Collins-sampling Oh Lord and sold out shows from the U.K. to the States before being handpicked by Bieber to support him on tour in Europe, the MOBO award-winning quintet are poised to bring male harmony vocals back to the charts.
Mood, their second EP – and first since signing to Polydor – sees MiC LOWRY (pronounced Mike Lowry) expand their soulful sound with forays in to funk, hip hop and even garage, while their lyrics have grown ever more explicit. Co-written by the band, Mood was recorded in Liverpool, London and L.A. with an array of A-list producers – among them MNEK (Beyonce, Disclosure), Stereotypes (Bruno Mars, Bieber), Harmony Samuels (Ariana, Chris Brown) and Shift Key (Stormzy, Tinie Tempah). Led by sultry new single Don’t Tempt Me, Mood contains six tracks, plus interlude 2U, that explore a variety of sounds, tempos and, well, moods. What they have in common is a band who are tighter than brothers and whose innate understanding of each other’s talents and how their five voices best blend is practically telepathic.
In 2012, MiC LOWRY – their name stolen from the Will Smith character in the ‘90s film Bad Boys, another shared love – posted their first DIY video on YouTube, a cover of The Temptations’ My Girl. Over the next few years, with the aid of their mentor Esco Williams, their former tutor at the youth group, the band built up a huge online following with their reinterpretations of hits by everyone from Luther Vandross and Bruno Mars to Clean Bandit and Calvin Harris. Their cover of Beyonce’s Drunk In Love was the first to hit the million mark, by which time MiC LOWRY were selling out shows through word of mouth. In London’s Euston station, they were ordered to leave over the tannoy for singing – or rather, for stopping too many commuters in their tracks. In Liverpool, they caused chaos by filming out in the streets. In 2015, they won the MOBO UnSung award.

The story all begins in the cold canadian capitol of Ottawa,
Born an interesting mixture of ethnicities including African American, Caucasian, Native American, and Cuban – Maurice embodies the true meaning of diversity, in his background and in his musical creations. At only 6 years old, Maurice’s parents endured a harsh divorce, forcing him to take the role as man of the house and take care of his baby sister while mom worked multiple jobs to provide for them. Growing up in the projects didn’t hinder his tunnel vision state of mind towards his goals. He initially found solace in athletics—American football in particular, being recognized as an All-American running back and one of the top recruits of his class— but with music tugging on his heart it became increasingly hard to pursue both and Maurice decided to leave his scholarships behind to follow his passion in music.
Well before his time and all before his first day of High School, “MM” formulated a major business plan and applied for a ‘Summer Company Grant’ through Ottawa’s City Hall; a grant he was ultimately awarded. This award not only gave the growing star the opportunity to build his own music studio from scratch, but it also allowed the then 14 year-old to seriously enter the music industry as the brainchild of a production and musical engineering business.
Maurice Moore established his solo career in the summer of 2013 as a singer, songwriter, producer & engineer. A member of Kehlani’s Tsunami Mob collective, the Ottawa-native’s music can be heard on airwaves across North America, Australia and Europe, while his verses and hooks are sung by some of your favourite major artists.
