Exclusive Interview:Dreezy Talks Sophomore Project “Big Dreez”, Relationship w/ Jaquees, & More w/ @MFWERadio

Seandrea “Dreezy” Sledge earned her stripes as one of the most sought after artists in hip-hop the old fashioned way. After building a name in her native Chicago, Illinois, she exploded on the national scene in 2014 thanks to her “Chiraq” freestyle, which logged more than 2 million views on YouTube and established her as an artist with immense talent, ferocious lyrical skills, and a magnetic presence.

Dreezy recently sprinkled fans with the side project, Big Dreez, which features guest turns from Jaquees and Offset of Migos, among others. “I’m poppin’ my shit on it,” Dreezy says of the 10-track project. “It’s a lot of dope flows on there, a lot of dope beats. I was doing a lot of experiments, playing around with R&B, playing around with the rap. I wanted to do a mixture, so that’s how we came up with “Big Dreez.”

For the stuntastic single “Chanel Slides,” Dreezy enlisted fellow Midwest wordsmith, Kash Doll. Elsewhere on Big Dreez, Dreezy reunites with Jeremih for “Ecstasy.” The pair’s sonic chemistry shines once more as they go back-and-forth about enjoying some quality time together. Millennial R&B sensation Jacquees also pops up for the affectionate duet “Love Someone,” while Offset comes through with a verbal assist on “Cash App.”In a career already filled with remarkable achievements, Dreezy is striving to meet her next round of goals as she learns to appreciate what she’s already accomplished. As her music continues climbing, the 24-year-old is simultaneously poised to make her mark as an actor. In 2019, she will appear in the BET series Boomerang, and in the Netflix film Beatsstarring Anthony Anderson “This is the year where I’ma really give it my all,” she promises.
