Exclusive Interview: Jordan Fisher Talks “All About Us”, Grease Live, Musical Influence, & More on @MFWERadio



It’s all about Jordan Fisher these days.  The singer, musician, dancer and actor is about to premiere the first single from his debut album.  “All About Us” is a call to arms for music lovers who enjoy pop, soul, R&B and dance.  Produced by Oak Felder (Alessia Cara, Arianna Grande, Rihanna), the song is complex in its modern yet retro vibe.  The video, directed by TK McKamy and choreographed by WilldaBeast Adams, is a show-stopping visual for Jordan; sensuous and moody and showcasing his talent as a buoyant dancer, seemingly defying the laws of gravity. “All About Us” is a song that embodies who I am.  It’s a good way to open the door to what the rest of my album is like,” enthuses Jordan.

Fisher recently posted “Counterfeit,” another song from his upcoming debut album, on Soundcloud following his breakout performance on Fox’s “Grease:  Live.”  “Counterfeit” was instantly embraced by his fans and mainstream media outlets such as Cosmopolitan, Idolator and Mashable.  Jordan starred as “Doody” in “Grease: Live,” which attracted more than 12.2 million viewers, 1.2 million tweets seen a total of 162.2 million times; ranking as the #1 most viral special live music event in history.  Jordan stole the show with his performance of “Those Magic Changes,” with the likes of People Magazine, Buzzfeed and Entertainment Weekly calling him “a star” and “one to watch.”Once people hear “All About Us,” they’ll be watching alright, and singing along, and dancing!
