Being bold is a big part of being an artist. You’ve got to be willing to act intrepidly at the right moments. Natalie La Rose knows just when to be bold. In 2011 while attending an ESPY Awards after party, she walked up to Flo Rida and told him they were going to work together. Struck by her charisma and confidence, the (intrigued) multi-platinum international superstar invited her to the studio the next day. Over the course of two years to follow, she performed alongside Flo across the globe at sold out shows. 2013 saw her officially ink a deal with his International Music Group (I.M.G.) label, formally solidifying their partnership. However, that wasn’t the first time Natalie followed such an impulse. Born to Surinamese parents and raised in Amsterdam, she moved to Los Angeles alone at 20-years-old, pursuing her dream of becoming a singer and dancer. Inspired by everyone from Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson to Mariah Carey, she honed her vocal chops through years of diligent practice. That prowess led to a deal with Blackground Records/Interscope Records for her duo Amsterdam in 2010. Her debut single for I.M.G./Republic Records “Somebody” [featuring Jeremih] will undoubtedly get the dance floor moving. Over smooth production from Future Classic, the song updates the melody from Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” for a new millennium. Natalie’s voice takes the spotlight in between a sexy hook from Jeremih. Checkout our latest interview with Natalie !!!!!

Janice Gaines already has Mary Mary’s Erica Campbell, Donnie McClurkin, Natalie Grant and Donald Lawrence co-signing her skills. That says quite a lot. But even without these mega-talents in her corner, Gaines is guaranteed to hook you from the very first listen.
Gifted with an effervescent soprano that soars into the rafters and an ear for soul-baring lyrics, Gaines is Motown Gospel’s next-generation game changer. Her refreshing yet fearless artistry—a daring fusion of mainstream and inspiration —reverberates with jubilant determination.
And what a ride it is. Over the course of seven more tracks, Gaines whisks listeners away on a whirlwind tour of what it feels like to be in God’s grace. She takes the anthem route on the atmospheric “Wait on You,” unabashedly proclaiming she’ll never let go of believing in all that He promises—no matter how long the wait. Built on a platform of up-tempo beats, “The Break-Up Song”.
For her first Motown Gospel album, Gaines collaborated with one of her “dream producers,” LaShawn Daniels. The Grammy-winning songwriter/producer behind such acts as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Destiny’s Child and Tamar Braxton proved to be a kindred Christian spirit. Born in St. Louis and raised in Memphis, Gaines comes by her musical dichotomy naturally. Although her Methodist minister father and singer/songwriter/musician mother divorced during her childhood, Gaines describes herself as “a combo“ of the two. “I grew up with a conservative dad, whose favorite songs are hymns, and a creative, eccentric mom who listened to everything from Earth, Wind & Fire to Tupac.” In fact, Gaines and her older brother frequently traveled with their mother to her gigs as a singer in a top 40 cover band. You’ve got to understand music’s traditions in order to reinvent them. Jordan Bratton certainly does. The 18-year-old singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer possesses a prodigious grasp on all aspects of music. His critically applauded 2014 mixtape, The Grey Area, and debut single “Danger 3” are wholly the products of his personal production and songwriting vision. Armed with a multitude of talents, he stands poised to truly break ground.
At only four-years-old, the New York native realized his innate passion for singing. Encouraged by his “musical” family, he joined the choir in Kindergarten and enjoyed his first moment in the spotlight singing a solo at Lincoln Center during the holidays. Young Jordan also learned the drums before picking up piano and organ at age eleven followed by guitar, bass, and even clarinet. Immersed in the likes of Earth Wind & Fire and Kim Burrell among other R&B and gospel icons, he even started performing live with his dad’s band as well as playing organ at church.
